Independent Network in the Press

The Independent Network has been mentioned in several newspapers and blogs over the month. Last Saturday we were mentioned in the Telegraph’s article, Chancellor and senior MPs face election challenge from Independent. The article discusses Independent candidates challenging seats from MPs who were vilified in the expenses scandal.

The IN was also mentioned in the Kidderminster Shuttle’s article Wyre Forest MP prepared to lead Independents at Westminster. This news article discusses Dr Taylor MP’s involvement in non-party politics and the support that he, Martin Bell and Terry Waite are currently providing for Independent candidates.

The IN was also mentioned in the Radio Four programme, This Week in Westminster. The programme discussed our Exec member Steven Ford (PPC for Hexham) and the Independent MP, Dr Richard Taylor also spoke about our work.

Bloggers have also started commenting on the IN blog entry on the Bell Principles. The best entry was by Lobby Dog, a blog discussing the activities of Nottinghamshire MPs.
